This is a list of Japanese radio stations that have been adapted to work with Euro Truck Simulator 2. All the radio stations are real, and so, the content they stream may vary on a daily basis (talk shows, news, sports commentary, Japanese music, worldwide music, etc).

Also you can try to hit the Update From Internet button and see if that will re-write that file and give you streaming. The game doesn't support mp3's under Linux (regardless if your Linux supports them) AFAIK. I think it's a licensing issue. The radio stations in live_streams.sii are probably mp3 streams.

It seems to not want to load songs which have cover art exceeding approximately 125 kilobytes in size. The song I tried earlier worked just fine when I reduced the cover art to around 112

1.39 Support Released! Greetings! Earlier this month, update 1.39 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator was released, and since then, our developers have been working hard on porting our multiplayer client's game version from 1.38 to 1.39. After much anticipation, we are happy to now confirm TruckersMP supports version 1.39! Double post merged. In American Truck Simulator (and Euro Truck Simulator 2) you can add your own music via the music folder for ATS (or ETS2) or by adding your favourite radio stations by configuring the "live_streams.sii" file. It seems like it would be a very useful feature, but it is kind of difficult.

Rules you should fallow: 1. all streams must be MP3 for ATS or we don't add it. 2. No AACs! the streams can get blocked by the server. 3. No MP4 the files are too big.

The radio always worked fine but I've never used them that much, but today I decided that I wanted to listen to some random radio stations and it just doesn't work anymore. It keeps trying to connect and cycling through all the stations, but never plays. I've searched for solutions, messed around with codecs, firewall and nothing seems to work. I'm just stumped and kinda annoyed lol Any help The radio do work, the audio sources may not. If you're unable to play the streaming radios outside of ETS2, you won't inside (and even then). If your MP3s are not MP3 or OGG, and without tags, it won't work. SKrUr0Y.
