My 04 CMAX 1.6 ambiente has gotten an issue with central locking. The Fob Locks all doors, but only unlock driver door. All doors can be unlocked manually from inside. Passenger door unlocks driver if i manually unlock from inside. I can hear door motors trying to unlock with the fob when putting my ear to the door skin. Boot and gas cap also
if the remote is working fine and locking from the passenger door works fine, the this suggests that its a problem with the drivers door lock/barrel, have you tried the old WD40 on the lock? other than that, im sure a more knowledgable megger will be along shortly with the answer. and by the way, wlecome to MEG m8!
1986 Answers. SOURCE: Rear back door will not work with central locking system. If it makes a sound, but doesn't unlock / lock, then it's most likely the linkage has seperated. If it doesn't make a sound, it's most likely the actuator for the lock has broken. you'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and

It is not a problem that big I want to spend mega bucks but I'm sure it'll only be a little problem My alarm and double locking work perfectly, and apart from the problem detailed below, central locking is also fine.

The button procedure that is used to activate the autolocking function will only work if autolocking is activated into the Central Car Configuration (CCC) of the BCM. On European market Focus, C-max and Kuga vehicles the autolocking function is deactivated in the CCC as standard. For this function to work it needs to be activated inside the CCC

When I lock using the fob the central locking all the doors except the drivers door lock and the alarm correctly sets. (When doing this I normally do a double press to activate the dead lock.)
Can't seem to remedy an ongoing centrallocking problem. the passenger doors are locked permanently with the locking button in the 'pushed in' locked position in all but the drivers door. the drivers door only opens with the key manually after the fob is used to disarm the alarm.
